Wow, here we are half way to the birthday cake! It's hard to believe!

Khloe is so sweet these days. Not that she wasn't before, she is just so active now. She wants to reach EVERYTHING she sees, and usually gets to it one way or another :). She rolls like a pro and sits perfectly for the longest time. She has two bottom teeth and LOVES to eat. Oh my she can down the whole container of vanilla custard banana pudding in 3 min, and that's just breakfast my friends. Her favorites are pears, sweet potatoes, applesauce and sweet potatoes and sweet corn mix.

She still sleeps great, loves to be outside and is truly a sweet, happy baby. I love her laugh, it always melts my heart to hear that sweet sound. I love seeing her big cute smile in the morning when I come get her from her crib. And her favorite time of the day is still at night when she takes a bath. Every night, if she is not in the tub by 7p.m. she lets me know that it's time for me to put her in and boy does she enojoy every minute of it. Kaylee likes to get in with her and washes her feet and hair and is really sweet to her.

So to say that these past 6 months have been the happiest months of my life is a understatement. I love my family, I love my beautiful daughters and life is good :)

5 months

Happy 5 months Khloe girl.
I love you so much more Khloe, then I did when I was writing your 4 month post. You are still one happy baby that LOVES to eat, take a bath and cuddle. You love rice cereal, bananas and pears. You flew all the way to Europe and took your first trip do Disneyland Paris this month. You met your very first cousin that's only one week older than you for the first time and I think you liked each other. You also got to meet your sweet auntie Petra for the first time, uncle Brian, grandma and grandpa Jurcakovi, great grandma Ana and lots of other extended family members. You still sleep through the night and have no teeth yet. You sit all by yourself with no help and you laugh so loud and cute when daddy kisses your neck. You are perfect and we all love you so much.

Khloe's blessing

Our little Khloe was finally given a blessing last Sunday. I felt so bad about waiting for so long, but it was really important for us to have some family there. Summer is extremely busy with Ryan's schedule and his dad travels for work so much that we couldn't find a weekend where we could all get together. We had two options with one being doing it in Alabama with just to four of us or wait and have at least his dad there with Ryan. Since Kaylee already had two birthdays and none of her grandparents were ever there, I just didn't want to be sad about them missing another event in my kid's lifes if I can help it. The blessing was beautiful, Ryan did a great job. Although Khloe was crying almost the whole time, I loved it. It was a beautiful and happy day. We are so happy to have Khloe in our family and in our life. She brings joy and happiness to us every day since the second she was born and we all adore and love her more that she'll ever know.

Texas state fair

Our summer ( this was our fifth) of selling alarms finally came to an end and since Ryan is all done with school we are able to take a real vacation this year and don't have to hurry back to Utah before the semester starts.

We are leaving for Europe tomorrow and we are so excited. It's been almost three years since I saw my parents and they have never met Khloe. The last time I was home was 6 years ago, I have a new cute nephew in Germany that I can't wait to kiss and my grandma and the rest of my extended family have never even met my husband so this trip will be amazing.

We are at Ryan's parent's house in Texas right now, enjoying some time with them too since we don't get to see them as much as we would like to.
The weather here is beautiful in October. It's still so warm outside, around 85 degrees and I love it. Another thing I love about fall is the state fair. I have never been to one in Texas so we made sure we went last week. Here is a picture overload:

That was a first

I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom last Sunday when Kaylee walked in. She was just standing next to me for a few seconds watching me and then she said something about her nose. I looked at it and didn't see anything wrong with it. She said "mommy! Look in my nose." Oh no..... My little Kaylee put a piece of a crayon up her nose. It was about a size of my finger nail on my pinkie. So pretty big for such small nose and it was pretty far up there. I'm not going to lie, I was freaking out. I was running around with tweezers at one point but I would never try to get it out by myself. I went to look for my phone to call a doctor when Ryan called me to go over there and I guess as he was holding her down and she was moving so much because she didn't like it the darn thing came out. Thank goodness. She never ever tried to put anything up her nose before so I never thought I would have to worry about this happening but I guess there is a first for everything....

4 months

Baby Khloe turned 4 months old few days ago. It's hard to believe that she is getting so "old" so fast. I see her every day so it doesn't seem to me that she is changing that much, but when I go through her old pictures where she was brand new or a few weeks old I can see the difference. Big difference. Her eyes are still beatiful blue color, but that's no surprise sine both me and Ryan have blue eyes. Her toothless smile is to die for. I love seeing in ever morning when I reach over her crib to pick her up. Two weeks ago she weighed in at 15,6 lbs. Still chunky and I love it. I tried feeding her rice cereal few days ago and she did like it. She had a hard time keeping it in her mouth tho as she was pushing it out with her tongue, but she'll get a hang of it soon.
Khloe still loves her bumbo chair, paci, mommy, bath and she loves to be outside now that it's a bit cooler. It's definitely not fall here yet, still 85 degrees, but it's bareble so we take advantage of it every day.
Tummy time didn't make it to her favorites yet, but we are working on it. She managed to roll over from her back onto her tummy couple of times and she also can sit up all by herself for like 10 seconds. Go Khloe!!
And we are about to take her on her first plane ride. We are going to Europe in 10 days. I'm already so stressed out about the 10 hour flight that awaits us, you have no idea. But she needs to meet her little cousin Eli, auntie Petra, uncle Brian before he deploys to Afghanistan, grandpa and grandma, great grandma and the rest of the family. They all love her so much and can't wait to hold, kiss and love on her.
Happy 4 months Khloe. I love you so much more than I did yesterday and the day before.. You are as sweet and cute and cuddly and beautiful as you can get, and we are so happy to have you in our family!! Love you!

Lucky

Sometimes, especially in the morning when everybody is still a little tired and just lays around, or at thing after the girls take their baths, have their jamies on and watch a show before bed, when everything is calm and quite, I just sit back, look at them all comfortable, Khloe in my arms and Kaylee right next to us, and wonder how on Earth did I get so lucky to have these two beautiful, healthy babies in my life. Ever since i became a mom, life is different. Better different. Much better. Thank you girls for coming to my life and making it better than I could ever imagine it. I love you!! all clean, ready for bed.

Rain

If there is anything I love about living in the south it's the storms. You don't hear a real thunder in Utah. And the lightning that comes with it...it's just beautiful. Sometimes you see the storm coming and sometimes you only have 5 seconds to run inside before you are completely soaked. Each drop is like a gallon. There is nothing like it I tell you. Well, when you are enjoying it from the comfort of your home. I'm sure it's a whole another story when you are outside in the middle of it all.

We got some rain today. It's wasn't as bad as it can get, so I let miss Kaylee be a kid and run around in the rain, jump in the puddles with her little bare feet and poke the bubbles that formed in the water that gathered on the road. Boy did she have a blast. I just watched her from the porch just being happy. I love these moments when my kids show me what life is really all about. Love my happy girl. (both of them).

3 months!!

Every blog post with a title that mentions my kid's age begins with "wow, I can't believe it's been x amount of months/years since she was born" but I really am amazed at how fast the time flies. I really can't believe that Khloe joined our family 3 months ago!! It seems like she has been with us forever, she belongs with us, but on the other hand it also seems like it was yesterday when I was waddling around town tired of being so huge and ready for the babe to be here.
We really are beyond happy that we have Khloe in our family. We have our routine and actually had one for a while and I seriously don't even remember what our life was like before she came. Here are some facts about that pretty baby of mine:

-Khloe doesn't really nap, snoozes a lot when I hold and snuggle her, but the second I put her down she is looking around to see what it is that I need to do that I have to put her down. So, not a lot of cleaning gets done around in this house during the day, but that's ok.( I feel guilty to just put her in her swing).

- she is a great night sleeper. Goes down between 9pm - 10pm and gets up at 7am.

-not a fan of tummy time. I mean, she starts crying almost immediately after I lay her face down on a flat surface so I cheat by stacking a couple of pillows on top of each other to make it high enough, so when she put he elbows on top she is kneeling instead of laying....we'll work on that one.
-loves to take baths. I bathe my kids every night. Kaylee because she gets so sticky/dirty during the day playing outside and by feeding herself... and Khloe because she spits up a lot and I think it's good to have a routine. I usually put Kaylee in first while Khloe sits in her bouncer next to the tub and just watches Kay color all over the walls. She gets so excited when I let the water out and start filling the tub again because she knows it's her turn then.

-she doesn't like to be alone at all. If I have to put her down on the couch or our bed or somewhere for a minute she is happy as long as she sees me but the second I leave her sight she lets me know that that's not cool. I think it's pretty cute.

-she loves her paci. Has it in her mouth almost all day long.

-Khloe is a good eater. She weights 14.2 lbs!!! Chunky monkey!

- wears size 2 diapers and clothes size 6-9M. My kids are tall.

-humidity and hot weather is not her favorite. She gets that from me. So, we have to go outsite in the evening and not stay too long, which is fine by me.

- she loves it when we talk to her and she "talks" back and laughs out loud which is the cutest thing ever!!!

- she has been sitting in her bumbo chair for over a month now and does great in it.

- she does like her swing a lot, but I don't put her there very often. The mentioned guilt...

- she has the biggest smile on her face every single morning when I lean over her crib to pick her up when she wakes up. It shoots me right up to 7th heaven.

- she got her shots a couple of weeks ago and cried only for the second one. I on the other hand was a wreck and we all survived, but I am definitely NOT looking forward to the second round...

- she has gone to the beach in Florida few weeks back and cried the entire time we were there. I can't really blame the girl, it was very hot and she got sand everywhere from her eyes to her diaper... poor thing.

Well, I think this is it and I hope I'm not forgetting anything. Khloe bug, you are such a sweet baby. We are all so in love with you and we are so happy to have you in our life. These past three months had been the best for our family because you complete it. Happy 3 months pretty girl. We love you to the moon and back. Twice.

4th of July

Better late than never. I have finally started to make some time to catch up on here because I know the longer I wait to worse it's gonna get. And I think my kids are just too cute not to be bragged about over and over again. So, here is what we did on the 4th. We went to see some fireworks, came home and did some of our own as well. I don't have pictures of those, but you can bet Kaylee had a blast shooting them!Khloe did so go with all that noise for one month old.This girl sure knows how to shake it.

Floaties

Best purchase of this summer. Kaylee LOVES water, and going to the pool when you live in the south is a must. Me not being able to go into the water for a few weeks after Khloe was born made me drive over to Target and get these babies for her. She loves being independent and was a natural the second she put them on. She just swims and swims and loves every minute of it.

I never got to upload these pictures of Khloe when she was just born and I feel really bad about it. I hope she will not be mad at me for it later.....

Looking at these makes me realize how much she has changed and grown. She has lost little bit of hair and filled up (she weights 14 lbs now, chunky little monkey :) ). She still likes to sleep and nap and her absolute favorite is to be held. Oh how she loves to be snuggled!! She actually gets quite worked up if I put her down and leave the room for a minute (usually to help Kaylee). But that doesn't happen that often so I can say that I have one happy baby on my hands. Love you Khloe!!

Is there anything more heavenly than your new born baby?? I think NOT.
