Keeping up the good work

I love this stage Kaylee is in right now. She watches me do EVERYTHING and repeats it right after me. She loves to change the trash bag, empty the dishwasher (she takes everything out and puts in on the floor or hands everything to me and I put it where it belongs. Team work :o) ), take the laundry out of the dryer, sweep and mop the floor, wash the dishes in the sink and plenty more. Here is my helper sweeping the balcony for me:

Summer lovin

Ryan works like a horse of course, what's new there. Kaylee enjoys having him home that much more. She cries every day when he opens the door because she knows she won't see him for a long time after he closes it behind him. I let her stay up late until he gets home so she can kiss him good night and oh does she love "daddy kisses".

Naaaasty

Good old south...It is terribly HOT down here every single day and I'm not even going to get into that "humid" part of it. Anyway, with all of that "hot" and "humid" comes a lot of "nasty" and "big". Bugs that is.

I know know if you can see it well but that white circle thing right from that bug has a house key attached to it so you can imagine how big this bad boy was....ew.

Bath time = FUN

Kaylee has always enjoyed taking baths. She still does, but we try to get different toys and things to make it interesting so she doesn't get bored. I think we are doing a good job ;o)

Chuck-e-cheese

Every year our apartment complex has a playground for kids but not this year. There is a pool we go to all the time, but no outdoor place for Kaylee to play (I don't think we would even go if there was one because it is so hot here all day long) so it makes it difficult to keep her entertained sometimes. We do go to Chick-fil-a play place and stuff but I like to change it up so she doesn't get bored. There is Chuck-e-cheese right across the street from our apartment so we went this past weekend. Kaylee had fun, ate a lot of pizza and got worn out. Mission accomplished !

She sure likes pizza. I wonder where she gets that from ;o) She ate 2 whole slices all by herself!

all gone...

She didn't let go of her princess cup for one second!

Virginia

We didn't have much time to explore Virginia because we only got to be there from Friday to Monday, but we had a great time hanging out with my sister, her husband and his family. They got married on Saturday in Luray, Virginia which is a small town up in the mountains and it is so beautiful there.
We got the whole Sunday to eat, relax and just hang out so we all got together for breakfast and then headed to Luray Caverns. I'm so glad we had a chance to go. It w
as beautiful, see for yourself:

all of us at breakfast

the cave

this one is from the wedding, isn't Kaylee the cutest little girl you have ever seen?

this is the "wish fountain" in the cave. It's cleaned out once a year and the money is donated to some charity that I forgot the name of. They have been donating the money for some time now and people have thrown over $700,000 in there over the years. Pretty crazy!

The Holfords

My sweet little sister got married last weekend so we flew up to Virginia for a couple of days. The wedding was beautiful, the bride was breathtaking (Brian is one lucky man ;o) ) , cake was delicious and the time we got to spend with our new family was great. I'm so happy we got to be there. Here are some pictures of the newly married
couple.
