10 months

Only 8 more weeks until Khloe turns ONE! How is it that the time goes so slow when you are pregnant and then flies so fast once they are out?
We have really been enjoying our little family these past 10 months. Khloe is the most patient, sweet baby there is. She can sit in one place playing with the most random thing for a while before it gets old to her and moves on to something else. I love watching her explore. One of her favorite places is Kaylee's room. She'll go in there and take all the dishes out of her play kitchen and then moves on to her art easel, where she'll take all the magnets off and of course all the markers and chalk. She'll finish off with taking flowers out of the vase that sits on her play table. That is of course if the closet door is closed. If not, she'll organize all her books and everything else she can reach.

She gets a lot more attention from her big sister these days, because she is a lot more mobile and gets everywhere lately. She walks around with her walker and has been for about 3 weeks now, and also when you let her hold on to your hand. She can also stand without holding onto to anything for about 15 seconds before she falls and she even took one step the other day.
She loves to play with Kaylee, the usually chase each other around the chair in our living room and it just warms my heart to see them laugh together. Kaylee is very good at making Khloe laugh. She'll tickle her, dance with her, splash with her in the bath tub...they'll have lots of fun together very soon when Khloe starts walking and running around.

Khloe is not so much into baby food anymore, she'll still eat it, but would rather much on goldfish. She also likes bread and yogurt and string cheese and drinks so much water.
She has 5 teeth for now. Two on the front bottom and three on top. She loves to take baths but won't sit still for more than 2 seconds before she is standing up reaching for all the shampoo and conditioner bottles and all of her bath toys. She is used to her routine and knows that bath time is at 7:30 every night. If I'm busy doing something else like preparing dinner for Ryan who gets home late, she'll let me know that we don't mess with her schedule and off to the bathroom we go. She'll play there for 15-20 min, gets washed and sound asleep by 8PM. Works like magic.
She also loves to go outside. It's been getting pretty warm here in Louisiana, 80+ degrees every day so we go out daily. Khloe will not be still being held but will sit happily in her stroller without making a single sound for a very long time before she gets tired of it.
She is good in the car, in the store, in Church, at home.... She is just a great baby and we feel so blessed to have her in our family.
She has the most beautiful laugh that just makes our hearts melt and we wouldn't change our life with our two precious little girls for anything!
Happy 10 months Khloe, we love you!!

She has the biggest smile! I love it!

Happy Birthday Kaylee!

It is very hard to believe that it really has been THREE years since she came into our lives and became a member of our family. It seems like it was yesterday when I was laying on that hospital bed waiting for her to make debut. I was waiting 9 long months for that moment to see what she looked like and to finally hold her in my arms and kiss her tiny face. I could not imagine back than that she would learn to talk and walk one day, and here I am now wishing her a Happy Third Birthday. It is crazy how fast the time flies and how fast our babies grow.

Kaylee is one of the sweetest little girls I know. She is so caring, loving, happy, energetic, smart, playful and easy going. She is always concerned about Khloe's well being when she hears her cry, she gives her kisses, brings her bottles and paci's and washes her hair in the bath tub. She loves her dad and mom and gets so happy when Ryan comes home from work and runs to the door to greet him with hugs and kisses. She runs to me when I come to pick her up from friend's house or nursery at Church. She walks up to me multiple times a day, holds my face with her small hands , gives me the biggest kiss in the world and tells me she loves me. It never gets old and my heart could burst with happiness each and every time she does this. She is happy all the time. Well, she has her moments, just like we all do (and lets be honest, it's no fun to go to time out for hitting your sister when you refuse to apologize) , but really for the most part she is one happy little girl. She is happy when it rains because she can pull out her pink umbrella, she is happy when the sun is shinning so she can go outside and ride her bike, blow bubbles and kick a ball with her best friend Mackenzie. She loves to go outside but is happy staying in all day if Khloe is sick...

Me and Ryan both truly feel so blessed to have a such a sweet little girl in our life and to be able to call her our daughter. Three years ago our life together changed forever, in the best possible way. We are so in love with our pretty baby girls and they truly bring a whole new meaning to our life. Things that used to matter don't anymore and things that didn't matter, do. It's incredible how your life changes in that second when you hold your tiny newborn baby and continues to change every day as you watch your sweet children grow, smile

Happy Birthday sunshine, we are so happy to have you in our life. You bring more happiness into our life than you can imagine and we wouldn't change a thing about you. We love you more that you'll ever know.

Love,
Mom, Dad and Khloe

6 months

These are iPhone pictures as you can tell....but she looks too cute not to put it on here

Wow, here we are half way to the birthday cake! It's hard to believe!
Khloe is so sweet these days. Not that she wasn't before, she is just so active now. She wants to reach EVERYTHING she sees, and usually gets to it one way or another :). She rolls like a pro and sits perfectly for the longest time. She has two bottom teeth and LOVES to eat. Oh my she can down the whole container of vanilla custard banana pudding in 3 min, and that's just breakfast my friends. Her favorites are pears, sweet potatoes, applesauce and sweet potatoes and sweet corn mix.
She still sleeps great, loves to be outside and is truly a sweet, happy baby. I love her laugh, it always melts my heart to hear that sweet sound. I love seeing her big cute smile in the morning when I come get her from her crib. And her favorite time of the day is still at night when she takes a bath. Every night, if she is not in the tub by 7p.m. she lets me know that it's time for me to put her in and boy does she enojoy every minute of it. Kaylee likes to get in with her and washes her feet and hair and is really sweet to her.
So to say that these past 6 months have been the happiest months of my life is a understatement. I love my family, I love my beautiful daughters and life is good :)
Happy 6 months Khloe girl, I love you!!!

5 months

Happy 5 months Khloe girl.
I love you so much more Khloe, then I did when I was writing your 4 month post. You are still one happy baby that LOVES to eat, take a bath and cuddle. You love rice cereal, bananas and pears. You flew all the way to Europe and took your first trip do Disneyland Paris this month. You met your very first cousin that's only one week older than you for the first time and I think you liked each other. You also got to meet your sweet auntie Petra for the first time, uncle Brian, grandma and grandpa Jurcakovi, great grandma Ana and lots of other extended family members. You still sleep through the night and have no teeth yet. You sit all by yourself with no help and you laugh so loud and cute when daddy kisses your neck. You are perfect and we all love you so much.
Happy 5 months babe. I love you!!!

Khloe's blessing

my princess on her day

Our little Khloe was finally given a blessing last Sunday. I felt so bad about waiting for so long, but it was really important for us to have some family there. Summer is extremely busy with Ryan's schedule and his dad travels for work so much that we couldn't find a weekend where we could all get together. We had two options with one being doing it in Alabama with just to four of us or wait and have at least his dad there with Ryan. Since Kaylee already had two birthdays and none of her grandparents were ever there, I just didn't want to be sad about them missing another event in my kid's lifes if I can help it. The blessing was beautiful, Ryan did a great job. Although Khloe was crying almost the whole time, I loved it. It was a beautiful and happy day. We are so happy to have Khloe in our family and in our life. She brings joy and happiness to us every day since the second she was born and we all adore and love her more that she'll ever know.

Texas state fair

Our summer ( this was our fifth) of selling alarms finally came to an end and since Ryan is all done with school we are able to take a real vacation this year and don't have to hurry back to Utah before the semester starts.

We are leaving for Europe tomorrow and we are so excited. It's been almost three years since I saw my parents and they have never met Khloe. The last time I was home was 6 years ago, I have a new cute nephew in Germany that I can't wait to kiss and my grandma and the rest of my extended family have never even met my husband so this trip will be amazing.

We are at Ryan's parent's house in Texas right now, enjoying some time with them too since we don't get to see them as much as we would like to.
The weather here is beautiful in October. It's still so warm outside, around 85 degrees and I love it. Another thing I love about fall is the state fair. I have never been to one in Texas so we made sure we went last week. Here is a picture overload:
