ONE

It's here. My little baby girl is ONE today. I have a little toddler now. This past year has been the best year me and Ryan had so far and that's just because of our sweet Kaylee. She is such a blessing in our lives!

Finally!

The day Kaylee's hair was long enough to actually do something with it is here!!! I can't even tell you how much her hair drove me nuts! It was (still is) so long on top that she couldn't wear ANY headbands because it was making her hair look messy. It would always move around and her hair would stick out everywhere so we just used clips. I would check every day to see if I could put it in a pony or something different and nothing has changed for a long time so I gave. Today when she was just sitting on my lap, I tried for the heck of it and ta-da!!

Playdate

We went to see my good friend Summer and her little sweet Maybrie yesterday. The girls had a good time and Maybrie did great sharing her toys with Kaylee. Even her walker "Leo". Kaylee has the same one so she thought the whole time it was hers but there were no fights and tears :o). Thanks Sum for having us over. We hope to see you soon again!

Outside

It has been so much warmer last few days! I love it because Kaylee enjoys going outside so much! She walks around, chases Coby around and gets some fresh air. Oh how much I can't wait for spring and summer to come. Last summer she just got to sit in the stroller and look around and I'm so excited to see her run around playgrounds and have fun!!

Just because

I don't have any special announcement to make, nothing new to post but I just feel like writing down my thoughts. Kaylee is asleep and I miss her. I couldn't wait for her to go to bed so I can just sit down and do nothing for 5 min for the first time today. And now I already miss her. I want to go kiss her, hold her and snuggle with her. She is with me every single minute of every single day. I wouldn't change it for anything. I'm so thankful for having her. No matter how bad things can go sometimes, everything gets so much better and easier when I just look at her. As hard as motherhood sometimes can be, as much as I have to forget myself most of the time, there is nothing better. Nothing. There isn't one thing I wouldn't do for her.

I love you Kaylee. You make me happy. Very happy. You give a whole new meaning to my life. You are the sweetest little girl. Your smile makes me melt, your laugh makes me happier that words can say. You are my special little friend and I hope that you'll be nothing like me when you grow up. I hope that you'll be thousand times better. You already are. I love you.
