White morning

We woke up into a white morning today. It wasn't cold at all so it was perfect for a little walk with Coby and play with him outside a little. He loves snow!! We love to watch him jump around like bunny and chase the snow balls. The only problem is his hair....It's little too long for a weather like this so the snow always gets stuck on his legs and freezes there and we can't get it off of him. But it still doesn't stop him from having a lot of fun :o))

Temple Square Christmas lights

Steph and Shawn invited us for a very yummy dinner last Sunday (thanks Steph it was delicious) and we had a great time like we always do with them. After we filled up our tummies we all went to Temple Square to see the pretty Christmas Lights. It was crowded as it usually is before the Holidays but we walked around and had fun. I really love it there especially at this time of the year because it reminds me of our engagement which happened there exactly two years ago!! So happy engagement anniversary babe! I love you!

My helper Ryan

I know that we moved into our new place a month ago but we still have a lot of boxes that are unpacked laying around our other bedroom waiting to be put away. I was going through that stuff today to see what can we take out and use and what can just stay there until the summer comes again. I finally found my salt and pepper shakers I was looking for since we came back from Texas and I thought I lost them somewhere in the move. I was behind all the boxes so I asked Ryan to put them on our dining table for me and this is how I found them there........ He didn't even take them out of the zip lock bag!!!! Such a guy! I had to laugh and go give him a kiss and a hug because these are the things that make him to be Ryan and I just love him exactly how he is. I always have fun with him and that's why I'm just so lucky to be married to him. I love you babe and thanks for help today :o))

Bump update

Steph asked me the other day if we are taking pictures of my growing belly regulary and we realized that it's been a while since we did so here is a little update on how big is our little one getting. This is the very first picture of a "naked belly" we have taken.

I know I'm a little bigger than I should be but what do I do? I love being pregnant anyway!

rrr

Ryan's passion

Not all of you know about Ryan being in love with guns and shooting besides me :o) Since the weather is getting colder and colder we decided to go out there, enjoy one of the last warm Saturdays and take his shot gun out for one last date :o)) Ryan's cousin Shawn his sweet wife Stephanie and their little princess Cassie joined us and we really had a good time.
Steph was really good and hit a couple of flying clay pigeons which was really impressive. Good job Steph!
And here is Shawn enjoying this sport a little more than Steph of course and he did pretty well too! Thanks for coming with us guys! We should do it sometimes soon again!

WELCOME ABOARD!!

We finally got to have some fun this summer, well I guess it's not summer anymore but it was for us! As most of you know, we sold security systems again this year for Northstar. We made great money and they paid for a Cruise for us, and we just got back! Both Erika and I had never been on a cruise so it was a great experience for us! Here are some highlights!

The best things were the 24 hour room service, 24 hour pizza bar, 24 hour Ice cream! Gosh pretty much everything was 24 hours and all the food on the boat was free!! One of the best things was coming in to our room, having our room entirely cleaned many times a day with the final cleaning leaving the room cozy and inviting for my wife and me, with a different towel animal (swan, elephant, monkey, etc) and the next day plans looking just like this!

Don't let us fool you, life wasn't as easy as we might make it out to be. We didn't have to cook, clean or even think, just eat and relax. But we did have some tough decisions...

What to eat?

What to wear?

Or what to hold!

The worst thing was I had a tooth infection the second night of the trip, I had some type of tooth infection which took me out for about 24 hours. I visited a Mexican dentist Saturday morning and they gave me some antibiotics along with a couple of shots to help for pain. I'll be going to a denist here to see why I got the infection and to see what I need to do. Erika, the best wife ever, stayed by me instead of going to dinner, spent half of our time in Mexico in a dentist office, and really took care of me yet again. It's not the first time and I know it won't be the last that she completly takes care of me in my time of need! I LOVE ERIKA! Just so everyone knows!! :-)

Not only is she the most caring, wonderful wife! She is also a smokin' hot pregnant lady, and here she is in all her glory in Mexico!

The mexicans even threw a party for her beauty!

But we eventually had to leave, however I suggest everyone to take a cruise! They are a ton of fun!! :-)

Six Flags!!!

So funny story, I promised Erika way back in San Antonio that I would update our blog, well it's quite a few weeks later and I'm just now getting around to it!

Ok, so this guy was kinda freaky! Erika asked him to strangle me but apparently he's not allowed to touch guests in the park, so this is as close as Erika got to getting rid of me! However, I was pretty close to getting rid of Erika as well!!

This guy was one of my buddies back in Middle School, needless to say he got caught up in the LOTR world back in High School and has been a freak ever since. Haha, one to many games of D&D. But he's cool, Brenton still keeps in close contact with him.

I also had a GREAT time riding the rides! They were a blast!! The best thing is that we got the tickets to the park for free for eating at KFC. I guess during October they weren't very busy and that's why, but the park was also pretty much empty so there were no lines!!

Needless to say, Erika being many days burdened with child was unable to accelerate and turn in such ways, and there was much saddness.

The most super thing about sixflags was the ride Superman. I came to it, I saw it, and I conquered it. And then I found out His Secret as well! He's really not as super as he claimes to be!

We are having a GIRL!!

We finally know that our little "kicker" is a girl!!! We went to our Dr. last Friday and had an ultrasound done but the baby was shy and wouldn't show us what s/he had going on "down there" and it drove me crazy!! I waited for so long and now this? So we went to get another ultrasound done today and found out our little one is a GIRL!!! We also got to see a 3D picture of her and boy is she pretty already!! We can't wait to have her here!!

The Alamo

Since we were in Utah the weekend before, we didn't really have a chance to go on a date or anything because we had a lot of stuff to take care of and Ryan had his meetings....Anyway we had a "date weekend" this past weekend and I absolutely loved it!! Ryan still had to work on Saturday but we went out for dinner after he got home to this pretty good Italian restaurant and made it to the movie afterwards as well :o))
Anyway, we still had one more day to spend time together and I love nothing more that that! So we decided to go downtown and see the famous Alamo.

It was a beautiful day and we had a great time and relaxed a little by walking around and enjoying each others company. The garden there was just so pretty that I had to take pictures which was I guess a little annoying for Ryan because I was taking pictures of him every step we made and also he told me to stop it after a while ha ha. Well here is few I took before he took the camera away from me ha ha!

And here is a few pictures of me that me dear sweetheart took once he got the camera to his hands :o)

Thank you honey....

I drove out to see Ryan on his break today so we could have some lunch/dinner together. It was raining a little earlier but the rest of the day it's just hot. He was waiting for me in the middle of this kind of poor neighborhood where there is nothing like a gas station or a store somewhere close walking distance. We went to Subway together and I could see how great it was for him to take a break, cool off a little a just relax. He was sweating out there (and still is) and mosquito's were biting him as he was walking outside....I just feel so bad for him and it breaks my heart to see him like that....I got to go home like half an hour latter to watch TV and do whatever I want and Ryan had to go back out there for another 4 hours. I'm so very much in love with him because he is just working so hard for our little growing family without any complains. I'm so blessed to have him in my life, to love me so much and to do his best for us. I can't even explain how happy I am to be married to such a great man. He always spends time with me and always unselfishly asks me what I want to do or where do I want to go just to make me happy even though there are things he wants to do for himself because he doesn't have time to do them during the day because he is working. I have the whole day to myself to do whatever and he still wants to give me more and more....So I just want to say thank you honey for being the best husband I could ever ask for, for loving me, trusting me, for working so hard for us, for trying to be better and better every day and making me happier than I ever thought I could be. You are my everything, I love you very much and I always will. I appreciate all you do for us and will try to support you more in your job and complain less about it :o) I want you to know that I can't wait to have a baby with you and I hope she/he will be very much like you! Sweet, loving, caring, giving, selfless, funny and super super cute :o) I love you and thank you once again. You are the best!!!!!!

with love the luckiest girl on Earth,
Erika Pettersson

Utah trip

We got to go to Utah for a couple of days this past weekend and I absolutely loved it!!! Ryan had some meetings at work so he was busy on Friday and most of Saturday and I got to spend some time with my little sis Petra who was so nice to let me spend the night at her place on Friday, made super yummy breakfast for me the next morning and even gave up her bed for me and slept on the couch....How nice of her! I miss her already. We went out for lunch, stopped at the mall of course and bought some cute things and watched movies. I enjoyed it very much. Ryan was done on Sat night so we hang out with his cousins for the rest of our trip and had a great time. But everything has to come to end and so did our trip. We are back in hot San Antonio now and can't wait to go back home soon.

Our final destination - SA

Yes, we have moved again...For the third time in last 5 months. Ugh! But thank goodness, San Antonio is our final destination before we get to go back to Utah so we "only" have one more move ahead of us. That one will happen in 5 weeks so I didn't even bother to unpack all of our stuff. The good thing is that we got another car while we were in Austin so we won't be so stuffed with all of our stuff in one car and this time we'll be able to put the seat back while naping on that loooong drive back. What a luxury!!

Austin-State Capital

As many of you know we weren't staying in Austin for much longer so we had to see the State Capital before we were out of there. We went one beautiful Saturday evening and had a good time walking around downtown Austin.

I didn't know that in the park down there were these cute little squirrels or I would have come more prepared with some yummy nuts and treats for them....Maybe next time. We found some nuts on the ground tho and took a few pictures with these friendly little guys.

And finaly the State Capital. It's really nice and the inside is open to public so we got to go in and cool of a little :o)

The bats!!

My dear husband suggested that we go downtown one night and watch the bats under the bridge there. I'm not a fan of those nasty flying things at all but what wouldn't I do for him right? So we went last night, I survived and Ryan was glad he could've seen them and take a picture as well. There was thousands of them!I have to say that I kinda like them if I don't have to look at them, because Ryan informed me that they eat insect which I hate more than anything in the world so they are doing me a favor....They could just look a little better right?

Baby bump

And here is the big reveal! Baby bump is finaly there! We still don't know the gender of our little one but will let you know as soon as we find out!

Austin ZOO

As I mentioned before, I just love animals and since we are moving at the end of this week to San Antonio, we had to go visit the Austin ZOO before we leave. Well, it's not really the type of ZOO most of us are use to.It's a non profit organization where they take animals after the Animal Rescue rescued them from abusive owners or places where they were before so obviously, it's not super fancy and nice but still it's my favourite one :o). I just think it's so nice of them to do this for all those nice, sweet creatures. And they have quite few of them too! Like 4 different kinds of monkeys, tigers, lions, parrots, deers, snakes, lamas....A lot.

They also sell a bag of dry food at the entrance so you can feed the goats, lamas and deers. That was my favourite part!! We went to see the goats first, but they seemed to be very inpatient when it came to waiting for us to take more food out of the bag, so one of them sticked it's head out and grabed the whole bag out of Ryan's hands! You should've seen the fight for it after it landed on the ground!

After that "accident" we moved over to those sweet little deers and I can tell you they were a lot more gentle when it came to eating the food out of our hands. We just enjoyed that so much!
But it really was hot outside so we decided to take a break and try one of those yummy Ice cones they were offering. Boy did it feel good to chew on some flavoured ice in that heat!
We finished the tour and headed back home. It was a fun weekend and I loved to spend some time with Ryan! Now I can't wait to go explore the Sea World in San Antonio soon!

Our life now - TX

Last few posts were about our last summer and pretty much about our life since we got married. We are selling security systems ( I mean Ryan is..) this summer as well. We started off in Indianapolis like last year (where I got pregnant :o) yay! ) , but moved down to Austin, TX a month ago.It was raining in Indianapolis like crazy most of the time and the weather here is a lot better for selling so Ryan is doing a lot better and is not soaked all day ( I'm dying but that's a whole another story....) But it is the end of August again and we should be packing and get ready to head back to UT but my husband came up with the idea of taking this semester only online classes (which made me so happy because I thought that we would have more time together since we don't get to do much during the summer) and do the extended program until the mid October....ugh!! Like I don't have enough of it in these 4 months!! But, I love Ryan to death and what wouldn't I do for him right? So I woke up from my dream of being around our family and friends anytime soon and I'm getting us ready to move to San Antonio for the next month and a half. Yes, we are moving for the 3rd time this summer. How wonderful...But I'm with Ryan and that's what's important so I shouldn't complain right? Well I won't anymore. We didn't take any pictures since we got here so that's why I'm not posting any, but I have a little baby bump already and will show you soon! I just have to wait for Ryan to get home and take some shots of us ;o))

Good times in Provo

End of August came by and our summer in Indiana came to the end. It was a good experience for both of us (Ryan was success full with his job and I got a dog out of it! ) and it was time to get back to Utah and for Ryan to start BYU again. I was living in Park City when we were dating so we drove up and down Provo Canyon almost everyday ( I think it actually was everyday) It's very pretty there so we just stopped for a nice walk and took some of these pics.

Indianapolis Zoo

While selling security systems in Indianapolis, my sweet Ryan always made some time in his busy schedule to take me somewhere fun so we can enjoy each other a little bit during the summer. This time we went to the Indianapolis Zoo and had a blast. I love animals so I was like a little kid running around and having a great time. We got to see the dolphin show, pet some little sharks and most importantly spend time with each other...
